Max Henry, Founder & Executive Director
Max has spent 22 years in Asia (whom 13 years in China), living and working in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok, Beijing and Shanghai. Graduated from France's ISG business school, Max initially started his career in trade publishing and media. For the past 12 years, he has engaged actively in developing supply chain and logistics solutions for both overseas SMEs and foreign-invested companies in China: running a strategic sourcing consulting firm Sinosources, developed a B2B platform Sparkice.com and managed a supply chain solution provider ECnet. More recently, he was the director of Trans-Access Solutions, a value-added logistics platform operator in China. Max is the founder and the director of the Global Supply Chain Council and the CEO of Chain Media: he currently dedicates his full time in leading this growing professional organization across Asia.

Jenny Kim, Director & Partner
Jenny started as marketing consultant at FAGE (World United Fashion Co. Ltd.) supervising market research and distribution strategy in Beijing and Shanghai. During that position, she provided the company with valuable market information such as local trends and co-sponsorship. She later worked with a sourcing company, sinosources, playing an active role in the interface and the development between key clients abroad and local suppliers. For more than 5 years, she succeeded effectively identify and negotiate deals with Chinese manufacturers and helped turn sinosources into a small but profitable operation. Jenny is the local representative and director of the Council's Chinese local partner, Shanghai Golden Technology.


Karmela Christy, Event Manager
Karmela joined the Global Supply Chain Council in January 2012 as Event Manager. Her focus is on organizing and coordinating the events of the Council. Start her professional career as project manager to senior event manager that expertise in developing marketing strategy, creative event concepts, to the implementation of various brand activation strategy. Currently she is the youngest member of board of Advisor for the prestigious Indonesian Travel and Tourism Awards 2011/2012. She attained her degree from University of Pelita Harapan (UPH) where she receives scholarship from winning Miss UPH Scholar 2008 as the 1st Runner Up. In 2008, she became one of the session speaker in The 2nd Indonesian Business Management National Conference. The topic she presented become her thesis and published in UPH Management Journal 2009.

Peta Heinrich, Content Editor
Peta joined the Global Supply Chain Council as Editor of Chaina Magazine in May 2012. She graduated from Monash University with a Master of Interpreting and Translation, and from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts (German/ Spanish) and a Diploma of Languages (Mandarin). During her studies she received a scholarship to study at Shandong University, Jinan, China where she lived for one and a half years. She later spent six months studying at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Peta is a NAATI qualified translator from Chinese into English and has worked as a freelance translator for various companies. She spent two and a half years working for an airline in Qatar before returning to China in 2012. Before joining the Council she worked for another publication as writer, editor and translator.

Janice Chen, Events & Membership Executive
Janice graduated from Sino-British College belonging to University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, which is in partnership with NCUK. She got two countries’ full degrees in BA (Hons) Events Management. Under genuine cross-cultural international education system and with oversea study, she is qualified with the professional skills, knowledge and competence to manage events. She is also experienced in planning and executing a range of routine and complex events referring to venue selection, marketing, sponsorship, staging and so on. She is friendly, well organized, detail-oriented and fond of working with passion and motivation.

Keynes Tang, Event & Special Project Executive
Keynes joined the Global Supply Chain Council as Event & Special Project Executive since January 2013. He is mainly responsible for supporting the event manager to planning and operating successful events  as well as developing and managing media relationships of the council. As a 1-year Planning Executive and a 4-year BA (Hons) student majored in Events Management from Sino-British College, USST and University of Huddersfield, NCUK, he is capable for dealing with most of the events-related affairs. Moreover, he is mature, resourceful, initiative and independent, as well as a person who works well with with a multi-cultural and diverse work force.
 
William Wang, Graphic Designer
William joined the Global Supply Chain Council in Jan 2013 as a graphic designer. he graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a major in Art Design. With a strong foundation and excellent skills in graphic design and up to date knowledge of the major graphic design programs, he has an abundance of experience in magazine, poster, brochure, advertising design. As a graphic designer, he has enhanced his business aptitude with creative flair, working to design and execute visual communication with impact.
